Back to the future?
The other day Heather asked me something to the effect "Weren't there electric cars around a while back? What happened to them?". Well, there just happens to be a movie out about that very subject. Who killed the electric car? Definitely worth seeing, disclaimer about potential bias aside.
Nevertheless, there is still hope1.
1. I want one.

It's all about the Hamiltons
P: (whining) But I don't want to have to get Verizon. They're evil. J: Well, is there any cell-phone company that isn't evil? So you might as well get the one with the best coverage.
While I get lots of boring credit card offers every week, I thought I'd share this one with you. If you sign up for this credit card, you get a Dell laptop for free. Here's an excerpt from the terms.
Just transfer $5,000 of qualifying balances to your new Upfront Rewards Visa and maintain a minimum balance of $3,500 for at least 18 months. If you don't have that much to transfer, you can also request a cash advance up to $2,500 to make up the difference. And then these same companies get Congress to weaken bankruptcy protection laws because they are being "abused".

Quoth the Raven
P: I'm fat and I have no girlfriend. J: Yes, but you have pie. P: Sailing [can be] so boring. You go this way, and then you turn around, and then you go that way, and then you turn around, and then you go this way... and then you turn around and go that way again. G: Now you know how a goldfish feels.

Service With a Smile, Part the Second
On May 4th I made a payment on my credit card. On May 28th I was charged a late payment fee. I know, it's my fault, and I'm sure it's all according to my card agreement, but somehow it doesn't seem fair.
